Garfield High School and Washington Middle School teamed up with the annual Earshot Jazz Festival to put on Jazz Up Jackson Street, a one-night jazz blowout featuring star alumni musicians and future jazz legends. Proceeds will be used to continue the work of building equity and creating sustainable and more diverse demographic representation in music programs at our schools. Would you consider helping us now in reaching our goal of $50,000?

Help provide instruments for every student who wants to learn to play music but may not be able to afford one. From cellos to trombones to drums and more, providing access to music is our priority.

Help us hire additional coaches and instructors to better represent an ethnically diverse community to work with our students. Having access to one-on-one or small group lessons is crucial to the success of beginner musicians in particular.
